I have been following this organization for almost two years on facebook. I have never met the women who run this NGO but I am absolutely in love with their passion to advance the lives of their sisters and community. I wanted to highlight this group on my blog site because the work they are doing is so important yet it goes unrecognized. The concept of an NGO is very new in Laos. These women are trail blazers and trying to pave an alternative path for girls and women who are entrapped in the cycle of poverty. I am astounded at how determined they are despite the political, economic, and social setbacks of Laos. One of my dreams is to travel to Laos and meet the women of VivNcuas. When I do, I am going to blog about it for sure!
